One scorching summer afternoon, a thirsty crow flew across the sky searching for water. The sun blazed fiercely, and the ground below was dry and cracked. The poor crow had been flying for hours, but not a drop of water could be found. Just when it was about to give up, it noticed a small pot lying near a tree in a garden. Excited, the crow flew down and looked inside. There was some water, but it was too low for the crow to reach with its beak.
The clever crow did not lose hope. It looked around and saw some small pebbles lying on the ground. An idea struck its sharp mind. It picked up a pebble in its beak and dropped it into the pot. Then it dropped another, and another. Slowly, the water level began to rise. The crow continued patiently until the water reached the top. Finally, it was able to drink the cool water and quench its thirst.
The crow felt proud of its intelligence and flew away happily into the sky. It had learned that even in difficult situations, thinking wisely and staying calm can solve problems.
