August 14 will be marked in the calendar as Dhumketu Day. One show after another has become houseful on the first day. But amidst all this joy, what warning did Dev give? After a long wait of 9 years, Dhumketu starring Dev-Shubhasree was released on the big screen on August 14. This day will be marked in the calendar as 'Dhumketu Day' for the rest of its life. Perhaps very few films have been able to bring such a big victory to Bengali cinema before.
The audience celebrated the release of Dhumketu by cutting a cake and playing drums at midnight on August 14. Just as the advance booking was noticeable before the release, the frenzy among the audience was also widespread after the release of the film.
The audience has become nostalgic after seeing the Dev-Shubhasree pair again on the big screen after 10 years. It seems that no one can control themselves when they see the love that broke up in real life again on the big screen. Their eyes are getting wet with joy or pain again.

Dev, Subhashree, Kaushik Gangopadhyay and Rana Sarkar are happy with the success of Dhoomketu. The actor is seen thanking the audience repeatedly. However, Dev has given a special warning to the audience after the release of the film.
After the release of Dhoomketu, Dev posted on social media and wrote, 'Please do not post any spoilers or any kind of clipping of the film on social media. We have this request to all of you.'
Before this, many videos of films have been leaked on social media. This not only harms the actors and actresses, but also harms the entire film. So Dev has made a humble request to the audience in advance, saying that please do not do this.
Incidentally, even though Hrithik Roshan's 'War 2' was released with the film Dhoomketu, Bengali Dev has completely wiped out the Greek God. Meanwhile, yesterday, the state government announced that every cinema hall and multiplex will be showing some Bengali film in prime time for 365 days a year. Tollywood celebrities are very happy with this decision of the state government.
