Self report; Kolkata;May 25,2020: The year 2020 is full of disasters.  One horrible incident after another is happening.  The Corona virus is causing a catastrophe all over the world.  In the meantime, one disaster after another has taken place.  A few days ago, the state of West Bengal in India was devastated by the super cyclone  Amphan.  An asteroid passed over the earth a few days ago.  The world was saved by luck.  Overall, the whole world is facing a difficult situation.  In the meantime, another terrible news is being heard.

 A part of the earth's magnetic field is getting weaker and weaker.  It is unknown at this time why it is happening.  Particularly vulnerable is the area between Africa and South America.  According to the European Space Agency, the strength of this magnetic field has decreased from 24,000 nanoteslas to 22,000 nanoteslas.  More worryingly, this weakness of the magnetic field is expanding by more or less 20 kilometers per year.  And this weakness is mostly spreading westward.

 As far as is known, there is a deadly hot, molten iron field 3,000 km below the earth's surface. When it moves, the earth's magnetic field is created.  This magnetic field is one of the shields of the earth in space.  This magnetic field protects the animal kingdom from the harmful radiation of the sun.  The stronger the magnetic field, the more it can block harmful radiation.  But the concern is that the weakness of the magnetic field has increased dramatically in the last few years in the South Atlantic anomaly.  According to the European Space Agency, how much is increasing is known from the Swarm satellite.  But to understand why this change is to understand the changes inside the iron field beneath the earth.  That is the challenge now.  Said Jargen Mazka, a scientist at the German Research Center for Geosciences.

 According to a report by the European Space Agency, the Earth's polar changes may be the reason for the weakening of the magnetic field.  The North and South Poles are shifting, as has happened before, on an average every two and a half million years.  This will change the way the magnetic field protects the earth from harmful cosmic rays, as well as the air in space.  As a result, the satellites could become useless, and the world's communications system could be severely damaged.  Even telecom networks and mobile phones may be shut down.  Scientists say even planes flying through the area are not safe.


 Scientists have already started research on this subject.  Now let's see what happens in the future.
