Cyclone Amphan Is Not Too Much Away From Bengal

According to news sources that Amphon is 940 km away from Digha coastal area. As time goes on, Amphan is getting stronger and stronger, and the speed is also increasing. It is known that at present its speed is 13 KM per hour.

According to the meteorological department, this terrible cyclone is slowly approaching Bengal. Until now, according to the news, Amphan will enter Bengal through the northern side of the land. At first, Amphan was advancing at a speed of three kilometers per hour. Now the speed has increased to 13 kilometers per hour. The storm is likely to reach 100 to 120 kmph in two Midnapore and two 24 parganas.

According to the Meteorological Department, the storm could reach 60 to 70 KM per hour speed in Kolkata. With heavy rain forecast. However, the meteorological department fears that if the cyclone touches the ground, the maximum speed of Amphan like Ayla and Bulbul may be 160 km per hour.
Fishermen have been already been prohibited to go for fishing. High coastal warnings have been issued. And in some places Coast Guard forces have also been deployed. The central and state governments have convened high-level meetings to deal with the disaster.
